Ariane 1 at Le Bourget

S.A.R. has completely renovated the original 1:1 scale model of the Ariane 1 rocket, displayed on the tarmac of the Air and Space Museum in Le Bourget.

A real building on display alongside its big sister Ariane 5, Ariane 1 required a building permit to be presented to the public at Le Bourget and is visible from 25 km around, measuring 48 meters high.

S.A.R. carried out the preparation of the support (scraping, washing, anti-rust) and the application of two layers of a specific paint carried out in accordance with very precise specifications. The new stickers are identical in format and colors to the originals.

The repair work on the rocket required a study of the structure of the scaffolding by following the constraints of the model. A spectacular project.
